Treatment Coordinator and Orthodontic Assistant
Amanda oversees Darmitzel Orthodontics and makes sure things are running smoothly. She greets patients and their families, checks patients in and out, and sets new appointments for both new and existing patients. She also works with new patient consultations and assists Dr. Darmitzel in with orthodontic exams and adjustments. Amanda loves meeting new patients every day! She takes great satisfaction in taking the time to get to know our patients on a personal level.
Amanda was born and raised in Santa Fe. She enjoys spending time with her family, fiancé, and her two cockatiel birds Pepe and Georgie! She loves to travel and experience new journeys!
Mariely was born in Albuquerque, NM but lived most of her childhood in Mexico. She is fluent in both English and Spanish. Mariely started her dental career as a dental assistant in Denver, Colorado and continued in Santa Fe, NM. Mariely’s primary job includes everything involving braces. She does adjustments, fits bands, assists with bonding, and takes photos and impressions. As lead assistant, she is also responsible for checking inventory and ordering supplies. Working in orthodontics has been a great experience for Mariely. Her favorite part about working at Darmitzel Orthodontics has been seeing patients smile for the first time when their braces are taken off.
In her free time, Mariely enjoys traveling to Colorado and Texas to spend time with her family.
Stephanie takes care of several things in our office that involve patient care, such as performing adjustments, sterilizing instruments, taking records, and doing lab work. She graduated from the dental assisting program in at the Santa Fe Community College and received her radiology license in 2014. Her favorite part of her job is seeing patients get the smile they want. She is also fascinated by how braces work to move teeth.—it’s incredible!
Stephanie is married and has three children. She loves sports, especially football, and most of all, the Dallas Cowboys. In her spare time, she likes to cook, spend time with her family, and go on adventures while traveling. Stephanie’s always up for a challenge!
